Finally I join as a volunteer speaker at PHPUGPH Road Shows in STI South Woods last Feb 23, 2013, this is my first ever event with the PHP user group Philippines where I gladly meet most of the pioneer and active member of PHPUG in the Philippines.

I volunteer to speak about PHP security with the some advice from the group I ended with the cool way to present to topic adding the demand of security because of some hacking incident happened on the previous months I can barely say that most student is become interesting on PHP security specially one PHP attack and exploitation.

Over all is wonderful and challenging experience this also the first time I speak twice even that I not comfortable and good in repeating all the things that I already did say, everything still end with a good conversation with the student and with their instructor.

It’s a wonderful experience to meet some of the PHPUGPH member and I’m very thankful for this opportunity and to your warm welcome.

The Cybercrime Prevention Law is, in fact, far worse than the “Stop Online Piracy Act” and the “Protect IP Act,” that were pushed in the US Congress earlier this year but failed to prosper. RA 10175 will have a “chilling impact” to bloggers, online journalists, advocacy groups and normal netizens, as any website can be shut down with accusations of infringement without due process.

It is also alarming that the new law was seemingly drafted with the mindset that crimes committed online is graver than those committed in the real world. Due to the vague provisions in RA 10175, even commenters and those that retweet libellous materials can also be incriminated.

As several provisions in this law are clearly unconstitutional, we strongly urge the government to junk this legislation and prevent the enactment of e-Martial Law. The passage of this law seemingly reflects the Aquino administration’s policy of neglect. This must be stopped, by all means.

The free PHP 5.3 Study Guide has included some simple question that we can use for mock exam, other may be found online like a The Zend PHP Certification Practice Test Book.pdf an old PHP practice test that we can still use.

Most people who shared their experience on taking and passing the exam has some significant advice it’s that you must have at least 2+ years experience in PHP programming.

My experience PHP programming is hard to evaluate since I’m handling PHP programming project in different years, I’m going use the approach study, practice and blog.

Study the PHP documentation; create a small simple project and blog for documentation and sharing purposes.

While PHP is a general-purpose server-side scripting language originally designed for Web development to produce dynamic Web pages. - wiki

When the user requested a page in a web server PHP scripts create the content for the user, but the web server and PHP didn’t maintain any objects once the request is completed. If the user request for the same content PHP will execute again to re-create the content, so there is no really an object and creating a bunch of object in PHP is useless because it’s going to be re-created and destroy on every request.

In the same concept I agree that the Object Oriented is just a group of mechanism that runs in procedural.

It’s always takes me a month to post on this blog because of some concern on what thing I would like to post and honestly I don’t really care that much on what reader would like to read because I know that 80% of this personal website visitor is spam.

I’m almost completed my PHP Zend Certification review so starting today I will post some PHP tutorial and tricks while taking my second round of review and after this I’m going to create a page or application for PHP mock exam to help me pass the exam and hopefully will be beneficial to others too.

There is a lot of free PHP online exam on the internet but my concern is most of those exam is too difficult and already out of objective of PHP Zend Certification.

Diving in every detail of PHP makes me happy and figure out to myself that I’m really on web programming and PHP is my personal choice.

After my review, I always end my day in doing actual programs hoping to finally complete my Slumnote project and start LibreForms, every time I start new topic I can’t resist to change the existing code that I have this happen because the fact that I learn something and its required to change in my code.

I been assigned to discuss the free software tools but in some reason and time constraint, I chose to discuss jQuery JavaScript Library instead to discuss the whole thing that I’m using in my computers.

I’m very excited to discuss the jQuery and choosing this topic is more advantage to me since I already have experience using it on my personal web project and blog. And last year I’m fortunate to have formal 3 days training in jQuery. This helps me decide to select jQuery for presentation, to share and discuss this wonderful JavaScript library to students.

With the power of internet and online community shows how intenet is really amazing fsf.org, libreplanet.org, php.net, google.com, wordpress.org, wikipedia and other internet services goes black that’s gives blackeye to SOPA to pull out by it’s chief sponsor.

I still continue to get the certification, first because it’s already my plan since last year, second PHP is not their concern and third its just for a PHP foundation and I would like to get PHP certification while I ‘m still waiting for php 5.4 and finally get the certification on Zend.

The w3school offer is good enough to document my knowledge in PHP, The exam is quite good not easy but never to tough is 70 random question about PHP and MySQL.

I passed the exam but to far to get perfect score or to get the Excellency Degree notation for those who get 95%.

Overall is good experience and nice to have PHP certification, I can’t wait to PHP Zend Certifcation but I still need to wait for PHP5.4 to come.
